It started like any other Monday...

I got hubby off to work, answered my email, popped in to make my NOPE pledge while have'n my coffee, got the laundry go'n, the 4 legged kids fed - out to potty and back in the house...just another normal start to another Monday. Or so I thought.

Everything was go'n along as usual, it was around 9ish, time for hubby's puppy to go out an run off some steam after wake'n up from her morning nap,  with her outside, I can get the floors mopped with out her "help",.. while it is SO cute the way she try's to catch and bite the mop as she's prance'n around in full "puppy attack mode"  attempting to kill the mop - cute only goes so far when I'm try'n to get little paw prints off the floor, not add to them.

So the floors are done and dry, and I go out to check on her. .... and here's where my Monday turned into one I wont forget anytime soon.

She had dug up a line of that thin black DIY underground sprinkler hose hubby has all around.... not only had she dug up - pulled up - drug up a section, but she'd chewed it in half and peace's and chucks and spread out all over the yard. I just stood there for a second look'n at the mess, and her just COVERED in dirt as happy and proud of her self as she could be!!

So, I had to get her in the house (that was a job, she thought I'd come out to play her new game - "destroy daddy garden"...and get, what was left of the hose's,sprayers, etc, picked up and thrown away and then get her in the bath to get her cleaned up,...so much for my clean floors!

I get her out of the tub and I'm dry'n her off and I hear the other two..they're at the laundry room door. My little one has her high pitched yap going and her "brother" is do'n his "I've got hound in me"

AHrrrooooo AHroooo,  somethings VERY wrong and they're trying their best to tell me.

I go run'n that direction and as I get closer I can hear 2 different sounds over all their racket, one I can't put my finger on, and the other what sounded to my fast panicking brain like ....   sssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss.

I think - a snake got in!, I snatch both them up, put them behind the baby gate in the kitchen with the puppy who don't know whats going on, but who feels the need to add to the growing noise level... I run through to the living room grab one of the swords, run back to the laundry room, fling open the door, ready to hack away, hope'n like HELL it's not one of the poisonous snakes we have here...

and water's gushing everywhere!!!!!!!!!!!!!  the hose on the washer had split.....no snake's, no danger, just a whole LOT of water !!!!!

So... after I called hubby (who said the hose "dry rotted", but he can't explain to me how something that has water in it all the time CAN "dry rot".. ) anyway, I got all that cleaned up, he came home and put on a new hose, .. took a look at all the carnage the puppy did to his garden, opened a beer, looked at me and said "yer not allowed to have Monday's any more"....

Yep, goes to show ya,... ya never know what your day's gonna be like... even if it does start off like any other day...

Here's hope'n you'll had a less "interesting" day then me :P LOL!!

.... now, will some one please pass me a cookie.. with chocolate frost'n...  ;)

That was pretty funny.  When it came to the part about grabbing one of the swords from the living room and start hacking away all I could think of "oh shit" what's going to happen next. hahahaha
