I saw my sister at the weekend, she has a 4 year old boy, and we went to the zoo. The zoo was no smoking throughout aside from designated smoking areas.

I suddenly realised I was staring at the smokers like I was the other animals. Maybe they should put bars in front of the smoking areas too!

It was weird! My sister thought it was really funny, but she's dead proud of my quit and new life, big sisters are awesome!

Me too.

Also as we were leaving the amount of people instantly lighting up as they crossed the threshold was shocking. The urgency in what they were doing, the desperation.

I don't do that anymore!

And... I don't smell!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
