Is it any good?  I can't do audibles - just can't listen to someone else reading ... I switch off and my mind starts wondering too easily.  I'll add a sample to my kindle - I've got so many samples on my kindle now from looking at what everyone else on the QT is reading!

It's really good!

I was a huge reader until i had PRK eye surgery about 7 months ago and couldn't read for a few weeks. Audibles saved my sanity and I still prefer them.  I still read but wish everythign was on audibe,

PRK - that's vision correction like laser surgery?  Part of me would love to have that done - my eyes are rubbish!  I'm way too squeamish though - can't even manage contacts LOL!  Didn't help watching one of the Final Destination films - 4 or 5 I think - that has a scene with laser eye surgery ... that series also put me off sunbeds LOL.

Weirdly I had a dream last night that I had suddenly gone blind.  I was driving a car at the time so it didn't end well ...

Back to the book - I've added a sample and will get round to it eventually.  Currently reading a real book!  So weird after the kindle - feels heavy.  Michael Connolly's Harry Bosch series - just bought the latest in the series but feel the need to reread some of the older ones (I have them all) so I feel I'm back in the loop ...

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
