Hey guys. I feel good and positive that I don't need to smoke. This is the very best feeling I have had in a long time. Most of this year has been a battle to stop smoking and I have had periods of abstinence but none like this. I'm withdrawing from the nicotine and am pushing through it because I know that I do not want to smoke. I'm a non smoker from the moment I put out my last cigarette. ...

Hooray it's Sunday and I'm still here. The crappy withdrawals are almost non existent this morning and I slept better last night.

I'm feeling irritable today. My wife and daughter were getting to me so I've decided to chill at home instead of going shopping with them. Feeling better already. ...

Don't forget those deep breaths....and doing stuff to calm down....crosswords...reading....

Explain to your lovely wife....that you might feel a little irritable for a little while...

Before you know it...you will be back to your normal calm self....

What your acheiveing is a wonderful thing....and will be so rewarding....

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
