Today was scary. Thankfully I'm not in downtown Ottawa and Steve no longer works for the Statistics Canada! My brother works for Service Canada and was in lockdown for most of the day, but he's fine.

 

Everyone's scared. I wasn't going to go out, but decided to grab a quick meal. The city is so quiet tonight. It's a very sad day here. :( Didn't know Cpl. Nathan Cirillo personally, but this happened way too close to home!

We're all kind of in a daze. Both Steve and I are really depressed and just kind of going through the motions of the day.
