1. I'm not playing cricket this weekend because I am babysitting 

2. I am not playing cricket this weekend because there's not enough people for a team. 

3. I'm not playing cricket this weekend because the weather is looking a little bit ropey.

So I'm going out on a limb here and saying this weekend you're not playing cricket...??

But there are two games this weekend.

 

On saturday I am not playing because of one of these reasons and sunday I am not playing for another of these reasons. The other is simply a lie.

OK... I am going with 1... because Fluffy (who is definitely not fluffing) is gone with 3 which I think is actually the lie.... I am really confident that 2 is true... cos, start f the season, sport, cross commitments... not enough for an 11... think that is highly probable BUT then slippy could be foxing... it could be that 2 is the lie because he's an honorable kinda chap and he would only skive off if the teams had ample numbers... no, I'm saying 1 is the fubar-wubar ... even though in my heart I suspect its true as true can be.

So those of you paying attention know I was dressed as a bunny yesterday though my ears had a malfunction I couldn't keep them up no matter how I tried but we'll say no more about it

 

1.. "wabbit  season" was shouted by many elmer fudd's yesterday..

 

2.. "oh oh watch out here's the bunny boiler" was said by many wannabe funny peeps..

 

3.. my co-workers hid my lunch and left me a carrot in its place..

I was so spaceman last night with the muscle relaxant that It took me over a minute to type what I did.... so reason... stealing your lunch and leaving a carrot is the kind thing i would do so it just stinks of true.... we don't really use the term Bunny Boiler here so for me that seemed the least likely of the two options... here it would probably be "anyone seen some mozzies we need the mixo"... "great there's a hole in the fence" in reference to the rabbit proof fence.... so of 1 & 2 ... 2 seemed more likely to be the fubarwubar... but now that sslipy has posted his comment I am second guessing the proliferation of the term bunny boiler in UK vernacular.

1.. True , especially from co-workers but got my own back by being able to call them fuds all day..(fud here is slang for oh wait need to see what letter we are on in topic of the day first)

 

2.. True, got lots of bunny boiler (for Jo it's from the film fatal attraction when she boiled the rabbit.. basically a crazy, possessed woman out for revenge)  

 

3.. False..  I was on the ball all day so  much as they tried their pranks I scuppered them first.. hahah

^^ I knew what it was from but we just don't really us... I dunno we we would probably say "crazy arse psycho bitch" or she's gone all fatal attraction on me arse" ... bunny boiler just never took off here... strange cos we love our slang almost as much as the Scots.
