OK .... OK.........

1. I rode in a helicopter with a traffic reporter once when I was in my teens.

2. I spent a night in jail.

3 When I lived just outside New York City, I witnessed a murder one night.

Yup! Jo's correct!

I did live in Metro NYC and almost every night was awakened by gunfire but never witnessed what was actually going on outside.

I can tell you though .... that was a quick education in real life to a simple bumpkin like me - living in NYC!

I met a captain out dancing in the French Quarter and was hired as delivery crew

The boat was a 48' Hinckley

We went from Morgan City, Louisiana to Key West, Florida

Plenty of places to lie in those.

Oh....hmmmm...is crew different to the cook?.....oh this is a very sneaky mixed basket.....the locations could be wrong .. oh....um...

I'm Gunna say that the boat wasn't a Hinkley.

@reciprocitywins by default.

I did meet The Captain in a funky little club in FQ.  I out dancing to Bryan Lee.

A few days later,  boarded a Hinckley 48 in Morgan City.

Morgan City is West of New Orleans at the bottom of the Atachafalya basin, a port primarily for the oil industry, fishing industry also.

Now here is where the lie was buried.

We didn't sail to Key West, we sailed to St. Petersburg, Florida.

I'll save the details for more truth/lies

2. One of our cat's hates all human food - doesn't matter what it is; won't even lick it.
