I may have mentioned I'm going on holidays!!!  Huzzah!!

Trying to work out who to speak to in America is a nightmare though. My mum is registered disabled here and as such has a parking badge that we display in the window to use special disabled parking spots.  Any idea who we'd ask for a temporary pass over in Florida?

Visitors from Out-of-Country

Visitors from other countries who have valid disabled parking permits from their resident country may purchase a temporary permit for $15. This permit is valid for 6 months. They must show the valid out-of-country permit and a passport (or other comparable identification). This permit cannot be issued through the mail. Original documents and identification may be brought to any of our office locations. The documents may be brought in by a family member, friend or guardian and will be returned.

Haha I think she bought her tickets to everything already.

I know that residents get a discount but idk if it is half.

Marti- I told this to Bakon and will share it with you. Being that your mom is disabled (if she goes with you to the parks) then immediately go to guest services when you get into the Disney park (Universal does not do this, but Disney does). When you go there tell them that you have a member of your party with a disability, how many days you will be there, and the number of people in your party.  They will give you a pass to skip the lines when you get on the rides (like a fast pass) to use while you are there, it covers your mom and everyone with you. :)

Marti, twenty years ago I had a disabled person in my party when we went to Disney World. I called the park and was told not to park in the regular parking lot (which is HUGE!!) but to bring our car directly to the handicapped entrance and a valet would take it for us. I don't think it was free, but it sure was convenient. I do not know if Disney still offers this service and/or if any other parks offer it, but you could check.
