I don't postpone pricey but wonderful family days with my babies for days I will never have again!

I don't get a horrible feeling I'm wasting money that I need for lovely clothes

I don't worry whether my breath smells when I talk to someone

I don't ever have to listen to fear of me dying from smoking from my child.

I don't have to say no to a disneyland and florida trip this year :)

I don't get stressed out when I go somewhere...wondering where and when I get to smoke.

I don't get winded walking to the end of my driveway.

I don't get the "worst dad of the year award" for being a horrible roll model

I don't get to stop at the gas station everyday (for some reason when I smoked I could never buy cartons) so I would stop everyday and buy a pack.

I don't get stinky

I don't spend money on my own death

I don't get tired only half way into the day

I don't run  out of air when I'm on a walk

I don't feel guilty about a stinking nasty habit any longer

I don't have to keep myself awake at night from worry and fear that I have lung or throat or tongue cancer,

I don't have the guilt and fear of my kids starting to smoke cos their mam did.

I don't have to stand a mile away from someone when talking to them.

I don't have to end meetings after 45 minutes because I am irritable and needing a cigarette.

I don't feel inferior to others because I can't control my nasty little habit.

Gosh! All of the above!

PLUS-- I don't have to watch any more scary, heartbreaking dying-from-cancer videos because I finally GOT IT!! I QUIT!!

Thank you Terry Hall and Yul Brenner and Gerry Collins and you other brave, selfless sufferers. I hope to never see you again.

I don't burn myself anymore. I can't tell you how many times I accidentally dropped a cigarette on myself and burned holes in my clothes and in my skin! So painful.

I don't have to miss out on valuable time with my family.

I don't have to make excuses or hide from people.

I can breathe without having to use my inhaler all the time.

I don't use money that was meant for bills to buy my fags anymore

I don't wheeze when lying down

I don't smell disgusting anymore (I love smelling my hair haha saddo that I am)

I can see the look of pride in my families face and see it in my own face xx

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
