[Solved] Shut off gifs, sigs and smileys

Recommended Posts

I know it's not a popular subject but, I don't like reading through pages, that are 3/4 animation. It hurts my old eyes and I find it too distracting when reading threads. I can't find how to shut it off. I like the desktop versus, the mobile look.

If the function is not available presently, can it be turned on, as it's PHP, right?

Please, tell me do.

Yeah, Mike, I agree with you. Large .gifs in signature lines annoy me. To me that's sort of like shouting to demand attention or typing an email in all caps.

You can hide the signature lines. Click on your name in the top right corner. From the drop-down menu select "Manage Ignore Preferences". On the top of the Ignore Preferences page is a check box to turn off all signatures.
