Tomorrow will be my quit day!  I had quit for 10 years and then divorced and took up smoking again for the past 20 years, this time needs to be my last time quitting ever, my health depends on it and I’m going to be a grandma in March, and want to be around to enjoy my grandkids! Will be needing support and tips from others too! I live in Portland Maine, 59 years old,

NOPE. If I was going to smoke again, it would be on a day like today. I have a lot of stress, and it's not going to be letting up any time soon. Even so, there's better, healthier ways to deal. If today won't make me pick up a cigarette, I really don't think anything will. And frankly I'd rather lift weights than cigarettes.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
