Our Sazerac.... 11 months today!

Sally... how is it possible that you have only been with us for less than a month... well, technically, you have been with us much longer, but you know what I mean.  It feels like you have been here with us the whole time (which of course, you have!)...

 

I am so, so happy that you have reached out to us, and you are already a wonderful and strong part of our family - thank you for being here with us ;)

 

I'm glad that you are painting again, and hope that you are getting some lovely time to yourself in your courtyard.  And I hope that your foot/paw is almost healed. 

 

If I'm ever in the neoghbourhood (Tasha always wanted to go to New Orleans), I'm definitely gonna come and see you and have one of those great sounding Sazerac's :p

You know, I wasn't even thinking about a celebration 

until I saw Action's post and the beautiful words from all my heroes.

This Autumnal Equinox is especially poignant for me because of that.

 

This morning as I was walking slowly through the village

and passing smokers on the sidewalk, 

my first reaction was to touch them on the shoulder and say,

 

" Hey now, y'all should really meet my friends.

They are a marvelous bunch who helped me be smoke free and will help you too !

 

I'm going to make up some cards.
