I'm an emotional mess and when that happened I tend to crave cigarettes. Close to caving in. I can handle being at my smoking (no longer drinking) neibhbor and her visiting me but NOW I'm having flashbacks and emotional a wreck and I do not want to to blow my quit although 11 September isn't really the best quitdate (that's an excuse you see) with 9/11/2001
I feel like screaming, cried my eyes out and although I have my one week anniversery, I 'd almost go to the store for those bloody fags.

Writing is good. Keeps me occupied from smoking.

Hey Evelyn. 1 week is great.

Caving is always an option - unless you decide it isn't.

So - decide with me, tight now, right here. "Today I will NOT smoke. NOT ONE PUFF EVER....just for today"

Post it back to me.

You can absolutely do this Evelyn.

'Atta girl.

Given that we are not smoking today - what else is on the agenda?

I know you are a big Dr Who fan - so what is the verdict on Peter Capaldi as the new Doctor?

Write write write.

Play with your SMOKE FREE Pigs.

Tuck yourself up in bed for a good nap or early bedtime.

Walk around your neighborhood.

Go visit a non smoking person who might be lonesome

and bring some flowers or grasses you found for a bouquet.

It is late afternoon...day will be over soon.

Tomorrow a different day

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
