Every once in a while we need to say again what are avatar is for, name means or nickname was for....

newer people don't know, we forget, or things change...

so post something about your name, even if its just your real name

(like mine is)

tell us about your avatar, even if its just a real picture you took last year or ten years ago

(mine is just anonymous, non threating, non serious, take what I say as slightly silly)

in a day I will start picking on people who haven't posted something, renaming them proper..

A large man in a skirt...

Hence

Queen of Scotland..

Posted a stupid question, to which Porky responded "Rocket Scientist or Brain Surgeon?"

Hence

Rocket Surgeon

Photo was on wedding day in 06. A blazing hot day in London..I suspect the smile was caused by Evian cooling spray. Those kilts are not designed fot hot days..."Betty swollocks" syndrome..

Action is my nickname, and that's me from last month sometime - trying to show off my new beard that I have been cultivating for a few months...

Hugglemonster was given to me by Sue, because apparently I like to hug...

Marti - short for Martine, which I always think conjurs up an image I can't do of european, coffee swilling elegance - the reality is a cockney chick who totally thinks init is an actual word!  I have a ridiculous double barrell surname too which was more to do with a "posh wannabe" ex husband then me.

Picture from last May I think, christening and mums birthday party.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
