Hey everyone:

I just spent 60 minutes at the gym and I really want to record my exercise hours, but am having a hard time doing so in MyFitnessPal.

I did the treadmill for 20 minutes, a bunch of strength machines for 40 minutes, and the elliptical for 4-5 minutes.

Does anyone know what I'd put in MyFitnessPal? I really want to keep track of my minutes of exercise.

No idea, but just wanted to say - good for you! Hope you feel better - doing exercise always makes me feel so alive afterwards!

It is called strength training. Then did you walk or run on the tread mill? Choose which and the speed. Like, walking, 3mph. Finally, there is a category for elliptical

Thanks Action! I feel great. :)

I'm going back tomorrow. Can hardly wait. :D

I'm going to do some Zumba tonight as well.

Spent another 60 minutes at the gym.

10 minutes on the treadmill.

3 minutes on the step-treadmill (so hard!)

3 minutes on the elliptical. Damn near killed me. I'm going to try for 5 minutes tomorrow.

7 minutes on the exercise bike.

About 37 minutes on the strength training machines.

That's great Leanna!!

The gym can be addicting, but it is a good addiction.. lol

I never went to a gym before, but started 9 months ago and go 5 or 6 days every week now. I have never been this healthy!!

As with any new routine,,, just remember to take small steps.  Increase the weight and or the time of activity when you are ready and comfortable with it, it will all happen naturally and you will know when to step it up.  And most of all, enjoy it because it is so good for you!!!  Proud of you!!!

Keep us posted!!!
