SOS I keep romancing the cigarettes.

Hope you can stay strong. It must be hard to quit when your spouse smokes. My hats off to you. Please don't ruin it. You're already stronger than I could be, I can tell you that.

on the contrary....my spouse smokes..and it only re-enforces my resolve to never ever smoke again

He sits outside more than he's inside the house that he pays the mortgage for

he smokes twice as much as when I quit 3 years ago

he coughs and coughs and coughs so much...and spits;..I won't dare go outside on the patio for fear that I will step in spit...I know..gross!!  right?? but that's the reality

Even though he smokes outside...I can still smell smoke when he comes inside...why??  because the stench permeates on him and it literally makes me sick

It's tough having a spouse for a smoker only because it's sad to watch the torture, the damage, the fear, the illness.....NOT because there is anything to be envious or tempted by at all....oh no...no no no...disgusting!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
