What do you think running to get a cigarette will do for you? It won't make you feel any better, only worse...

Yes, deep berating will help - 4 seconds in, 4 seconds out... And you should drink something - fruit juice or ice water.

These bad feelings will pass soon - they are only temporary!

Yep, each time you get past a crave, you get stronger. Your body and mind are healing, but sometimes healing can be painful, or uncomfortable... But it is worth it, because once you are healed, you will feel so happy!

It does pass and it gets so much easier!   Drink something cold, eat candy whatever it takes to distract yourself until it passes. You'll never regret quitting!  I can promise you that.

Eat something sweet...and have a nice drink of water

Also just remember...If you smoke one cigarette, then you will more than likely smoke another and then another....

Yes! You are right! I don´t want to go back in the chain of smoking just one, and then another...NOPE

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
