Hi guys!

I hadn´t seen the message, sorry.

Well...today I feel dizzy and with lots od cravings. Also lots of doubts. It´s amazing to realize how much of my life was built around smoking and now I have to come up with whole new strategies, schedules, etc. It´s great in lots of ways but a bit confusing.

At what age did you start smoking? Lots of is have been smokers before we even bece adults - we almost don't know how to live without cigarettes. It's a big adjustment!

A lot of people take up exercise, or hobbies. I've spent all my spare time on projects around the house, and now I've started on the garden. I spend a lot of time here (as you can see, lol).

Each day will get easier and easier... Promise ;)

I started at age 16. So no, I wasn´t remotely an adult.

It is a big adjusment! I think once I feel less exhausted I´ll start trying to do some exercise again. Hobbies I got a lot!  :)

Hi Natalie its retraining your mind to realise it does not need to rely on cigarettes to get through the day, every day is a huge achievement tell yourself how proud you are of YOU, tiredness plays a big factor in the early days, and exercise when you are ready, I started smoking when I was 12, can still remember it, you've got this Natalie you are doing great xx

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
