Hi guys!

Sorry if I keep posting...

I was wondering if you have any outside the box ideas to help me get through my first day. I´ve read all the "classics": exercise, drink water, etc. But maybe something different that has worked for you?

Thanks

Nat

You tubed songs to help me day 1. Eye of the tiger, gold by spandau ballet, survivor by destiny's child lol - I was the hangin on by a thread quitter :)

Nice now, if I hear any of those songs I smile. Remember you are doing this to be free of the addiction -each crave you pass by is one never to do again as long as you hold on now. Remember to smile too - you are doing it!! :) xx

also had a REALLY clean kitchen floor for week 1 :)

I hope I felt like cleaning hahaha, but I think I will try to go outside, go window shopping, maybe buy a little something to say to myself "Hey! Great decision!"

shopping an epic win! Maybe calculate how much you'll save and buy something today and maybe again day 4/5 ish. Shoes are good :) Treats are great motivation.

It's ok to feel a bit manic, a bit foggy...your body is confused. Just reinforce with yourself when you crave, I'm not smoking now and get busy doing something else.

Post like crazy, everywhere!! We all did if we had a good quit. Interaction is really good and helpful. xx

Find a project.  Something in the house or the yard.  Something that you have put off cause you just didn't want to screw with it or you were just too damn lazy.  When you get done...the sense of accomplishment is pretty cool.  Kinda helps with the quit too.

Wii is a great idea! I took a nap (that helped A LOT) it´s been raining like crazy and I still can´t go out. And yep Pinterest is an awesome time waster, thanks for reminding me.

Nat - post AS MANY TIMES as you want too - there is no such thing as 'too much'.

This is what kept me occupied in the early days!

Post every 2 seconds if you need to... may I suggest this game... Chicks and sticks  you are a chick so you count backward. When we hit -20 we win. ;)

Nope, not annoying at all. The more you post, the better in my book :)

How do I play it? I went to the link but I don´t understand

Chicks (you) post -1 from the last post. Stcks (ahem, me) post +1 from the last post. First to -/+20 are the winners.

Eg if the last post is 5, your post would be 4 (5-1). If I post, it goes back to 5 (4+1)

;)
