Nerd Help...stuck in password hell

Can anyone tell me why I cannot change my password?

 

I forgot it... used the "forget password" function and got a bunch of gobblygoock!!!

 

Anyone... Bueller....Bueller...Bueller.

 

FyI.. have gone into Settings - Change Username and Password - and I keep getting Password change fail!!!

So you are signed in with your old password, but you don't remember what it is?  I think I would send a pm to MQ...sorry I am not more help..

my secret word is written on a scrap of paper somewhere, looks a lot like yours.

I have failed trying to change it and have given up.

Who is this web designer...it needs a tweaking for sure.

MQ Bad for blowing you off and he seems so nice !

Maybe I will try again when I am in a very good mood.

using a lap top and Chrome also, sometimes little things matter.

Are you typing it (the generated password) in or copying and pasting? Have you tried using a different browser?

I am copying by hand but cutting and pasting is a brilliant alternative and obviously the best way to go.  I wasn't thinking.

 I will try a different browser too in the am.

it is not working...tried twice, second time it accepted the change and then when I went to sign in there was no joy. 

afraid to sign out now;

should I pm my email to you in case I get locked out ?

should I start the process all over and just say I can't remember...and get another computer generated one ?
