Um... at least until midnight.... 1) to make sure your house doesn't get burnt down by the illegal fireworks and 2) because I don't live in a nursing home.

Later... but if its not down by the Epithany (6th Jan) then it has to stay up all year or its bad luck. Usually take it down the 4th, dunno why, just do.

Santa - does he bring gifts for the pets too or not?

Really neither.... but probably Stay at home preparing last minute stuff is closest.

(Really I got to Carols By Candelight and then Midnight Mass... unless I have to work chrissy eve.... then I watch carols by candelight on the telly and go to midnight mass)

If it is like angel delight then all's good, if like blancmange bleugh, otherwise I don't know.

Junket is probably most like blancmange... it is like a milk jelly you make by adding a tablet to milk.

Is trying whatever we can to avoid the Queen's christmas speech count as a tradition?

If so Yes. To be honest we always do christmas at home and boxing day round my mums, which is as close to tradition as we get.

Would you rather see snow on christmas day or have an unseasonably (or seasonably down south) warm one?

Definitely like snow on Christmas.  It can come the day before and leave the day after.

Do you buy gifts for all relatives or pick names from hat?

Posted

Used to pick names. Now we just buy for our parents and the kids. Oh and if we don't get a thank you, the kid is off next years list lol. We're now down to two kids in the family that still get gifts. We give more gifts to the neighbor's kids lol

Open presents Christmas eve or Christmas morning

Christmas morning. It's rude to open them before santa has done his stuff.

After Xmas Dinner, slump in front of the television or play family games?

Well it just can't be one or the other.   It is flannel in the winter and cotton in the summer.

Cotton or silky underwear   ?
