Congrats on two weeks @robin0212! I, too, had the feeling of something missing. Smoking was the organizing principle of our life, so it’s natural for quitting to feel odd for a while. And sometimes sad. But then it gets better. You realize that you are 100% complete without smoking. Your happy place is waiting for you… stick with it till you get there!

Thank you Denali! Looking forward to that happy place!😊

2 weeks today! Yay! I am having that "something"s missing"  feeling. I remember this from my previous quit. I hate this feeling. It so indescribable and weird.   Does anybody ever feel this way? Maybe it's grief. Uggh good grief 😫!

Yes, I had it too.  I also had a feeling of doom but it all passed after about 3 weeks or so. Hang in there!!😃

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
