Thank you all!

It's been quite a journey for me. I almost haven't noticed the second week - a lot of stuff to do, time perception going back to normal and so on. Still very excited and happy that I found these message boards and all the support that you all provide to each other. Not supermen or superwomen, just regular caring people. It's wonderful! Yesterday I had a little bit too much of alcohol (but no, no cigs :D ). Birthday, quitting smoking and some other nice events in the past month. So I'll just go and watch some series and nap through the rest of the day. Have an awesome Sunday. And Thank You once more!

I am glad you found us too! You have been so fun and insightful to read. You are really doing this, you have given those nasty cigs the boot. It's so much better on this side of things. I was lamenting a little bit yesterday because we just got a puppy and it's soooo expensive. But then I was like, well, we'd have spent this money in smokes in no time had we not quit. So the benefits of being quit just keep coming everyday that we are free.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
