Hey Trainsters, I got back on the chain smoking gang during the holidays of last year and also hooked up with my old buddy from North Hollywood, CA who was reforming a new version of the Weirdos. If you follow social media, long time Weirdos guitarist Dix Denney died recently and was a life long smoker who died peacefully but was on an oxygen tank among other pulmonary devices. No joke, folks. Google it.

Anyway, good to be back and I know I'll feel shitty for at least a month initially. Will check in the NOPE page everyday. Good to be back! 🎸🙂💥

Welcome back @Steven Drojensky, sorry to read you gave up your awesome quit. Just glad you're back and ready to get your forever quit. Don't forget to update your quit date and ticker.

For the ticker you'll need to delete your existing one before making a new one or else it'll keep reverting back.

Hi Steven,

I’m glad for you getting back your quit. I’m still a newbie gaining my strength in battling this addiction.   I wish you the best and hope your first month will be better than mine lol, but from what I’ve heard it sucks all around.
May I ask what were some triggers or reasons that caused you to relapse? May help some ppl on the train (like myself who’s getting the itch, sometimes badly) to not make the same choice.

Welcome back Steven, I am so glad you got back on the train. Relapses happen but it's how you react after the fact that matters. You are stronger than the addiction.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
