I wonder how often I would remember that I used to smoke if I were not reminding myself every morning in order to pledge NOPE?

This morning I came across this gif, and it's going to come in handy as a visual when I want to forget things like seeing a piece of chocolate cream pie in the deli at work. (I work in an organic grocery store with a superb deli and bakery.)

Thought I'd share it...if you are new to quitting, if seeing someone light up causes the desire to do the same... "just look here"

Hi @Kate18!  Your post made me laugh and gave me hope.  While I haven’t had a day that I haven’t thought about smoking, years ago while me and hubby watched men in black I had a thought of wow, wouldn’t this thing be a lifesaver, literally, in helping a smoker become a nonsmoker (ideally me and my dad who was a heavy smoker, he passed in dec 2021 and miss him dearly…he was the kindest and best man, and daddy, ever).
I hope and am looking forward to a day when remembering I smoked, or a cig itself for that matter,  is a fleeting thought.

I don't forget I used to smoke but I rarely think about smoking ever again. Plus, I rarely have any cravings to smoke at all.

Haha it would be nice to just blitz it away, right? I actually do sometimes forget I ever smoked. Then I realize I did and think, wow, I'm over the 3 years clean woohoo! Other times I get a quick crave, and I marvel at it as it passes from one brain cell to another and then disappears!
