What a difference a day makes! :-)

Today has been an easy-peasy day. Amazingly so.

I had a sugar-free nicotine-free chewing gum or two this morning, and that was it. I didn´t fancy a Spanish nicorette, and I just stopped chewing and moved on with my life. I was busy.

My friend sent me a horrible video in FB. The one about the tar in 400 cigs... I´ll post it separately. That put me off smoking again big time. And happy with my 20-day quit. Yeepee!

So I´ve been to two meetings with smokers, one outside and another in their office. I entered their office and it hit me (yuck, these people smoke in here... and probably think that they can get away with it?).

All I could think of is how happy I am with my 20 days´ quit.

It is even better today because the last two or three days were just evil. Today was beautiful.

I can do this!

Thank you for being there for me! I thought I would share the bliss. And the knowledge that days DO GET BETTER!

:-)

Aww Susana so pleased today was good for you, it makes it so much better when you smell a smoker and think puewwwww I used to smell like that but guess what I don't any more, the actual smell of nicotine in the early days used to make me gag and crave both at the same time, weird eh , but I can sit with smokers now and it doesn't bother me, 20 days is absolutely awesome you are doing great, believe me when I say it just gets better and better, this non smoking life sure does rock xx

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
