English people prefer to be called english, rather than british (but we don't take offense cause we have a stiff upper lip lol)

Streaky bacon is not ok, find an english shop pronto :)

We covered tea already.

I'm sure I can add to this later....

I feel the tea needs further explantion

for good news, celebrate with a brew

for bad news, sit with a cuppa and talk it through

for a shock, add sugar

For Tracey, sub for wine after the yard arm has passed :)  Girl after my own heart!!

3. in toolbox---giving up is ok

what if figured out about islanders

  • they talk funny
  • their sports are funny
  • they drive funny
  • their food taste funny
  • the men dress funny
  • the chicks are .......

I thinks its a big circus or clown school  everything they do makes me laugh, like its wrong and they know it but still do it anyways. I watch their movies ten times to hear them talk. it cracks me up the comments they make. not dummies, very witty

the queen thing is weird too, but we got our sport stars which is worse when you look at the trouble they get into. maybe if we had a moral example like prince Charles and his life long affair with a big nosed chick, then our president wouldn't get happy endings

I like they got the Royal navy. Do they got a regular one too?

Its the Royal Air Force too hence RAF :) -  because top royals get to join a service and have lots of shiny new medals for parades, which they didnt earn!

prince wiliam and harry are the exception

Price charles wears his airborne wings - which means he jumped out a plane - but he never has done the night drop as its too dangerous for a future king (this gripes me)

yep if witt was poop we would be constipated :)

Seriously when I was over there in the stores, people dressed, acted and looked the same as here in the states, only real difference was the accents and the meanings of some words. The brands are different in the stores and of coarse the currency too. The landscape was the same in most places as i'm used to here but lots of windmills, they are everywhere and the UK is very good about going green, they do not waste like we do here.

One thing i love is the architecture, beautiful built buildings hundred of years old with so much detailing. Over here, we tear them down after 100 years and rebuild new, over there they renovate the building as to keep that traditional look, very cool! Biggest difference is of coarse the cars and roads, very few stop signs and street lights where we were, lots of round abouts,(think of Chevy Chases European Vacation movie lol) but very cool again!

I will be going back to London again sometime in the future, beautiful traditional city with new modern buildings going up every where. Love the culture but very expensive at least downtown where we were but so worth it! First time out of the county and best time i ever had and the best tour guide i could ever want. Will always remember my May 2014 trip to the UK!
