DD... my wife is a crochet nutjob... you name it... she can make it.

It is a joke at my house... come football season we will get all new stuff.  I watch football...she acts like she watches but crochets really.

She has a bunch of woman that meet at once a month at a bar or coffee shop and they crochet and share ideas.. .their name is the "happy hookers"

There is a local group here called "happy hookers" too haha. I knit, I can crochet but I prefer knitting. My husband will attest to how much of a nutjob I am when it comes to it. I have quite a few of those 2 foot laundry baskets full of yarn.   I have been banned from buying more. which is hilarious because i still buy it ....

Joe, what beautiful daughters you have!  Congrats to you and wife on some very pretty ladies.

And, you can certainly tell they are sisters!  Wow they all look very much alike.

There were three of us girls growing up with 1 bathroom....not even a 1/2 bath.  Just 1 bathroom.  Didn't seem to be a problem.  At least not that I remember....

At one point there was my mum and 3 daughters and 2 foster daughters... all sharing one bathroom haha, fun times!  I used toget up 2 hours early, do my teeth/shower etc and go back to bed to miss the rush :)

You guys have inspired me to try new things. Think I will get my mum to teach me how to sew properly on the machine when the kids go full time in sept :)  I like to make actual things and grow plants more :)  I sell some plants I grow from seed in season, and bath salts on ebay and they go really well.

I keep screwing up making candles but am determined!  Currently in the "all the gear but no idea"camp. Love my sister who said wow, who knew you could even make a candle that won't burn. I was the bigger person and didn't spit in her tea :)

Plus I make home remedies and stuff, but that's not crafty is it lol.

quid, sorry! £s pounds.

Copy/paste -  Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

You can reiki anything, from people to bath salts...

Ta da bath salts http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251609479627?ssPageName=STRK:MESOX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1561.l2649 Sold so not an advert :)

Bath salts... is that some kind of synthetic drug.  I remember reading some story about a guy that was high on bath salts and he ate some homeless guys face off.  Let me see if I can find it....

Below is the vintage  Moiree Satin side.  I found the moiree in a box on the sidewalk, it was a very lucky find.

Found these pretty Shaker chairs chairs in the trash on Toulouse Street

and wove new seats with cotton clothesline.

Please, remind me that weaving is a ridiculous mind-bender

and I would be cuckoo if I ever plan to do this again.

I call this photo, Viper Weaves A Chair.

Thank you, friends.
