or very low sulfites - one that is tasty?  I've had hives for 2 months, unable to pinpoint from what exactly and I did a little experiment and I think I might have a sulfite allergy :(

Organic wines is your best option, if you surf the web you might find some deals that will deliver but it will still be a bit pricey :(

hmmmm....Sulfites allergy.

 

Sulfites - CHEESE and WINE.

 

Oooops...

 

Step 1. Decant. A lot of sulfites will go out with the SO2.

 

Step 2. Tracey's advice is good. The less mucking about the winemaker has done, the better. A lot of the big labels ADD sulfites. Some sulfites are a natural by-product and pretty much unavoidable, but some commercial wineries add sulfites to prevent oxidisation and add shelf life.

 

Step 3. Have a look at your cheeses....

It involves work, but if you make your own (from a kit, not from scratch) there are no sulfates.  You can buy kits from all over the world, and they do make some wonderful wine.

colleen my wife found this wine  on a cooking show it sopposed to be organic
