This isnt just for Bakon, anyone who needs help with posting pics is welcome to read  :)

I am just going to copy and paste what I posted to Bakon in a PM...He already created a photobucket account, so that was a good start...you can post from facebook photos pretty easy also..if anyone wants to know how to do that, just let me know...here is the "tutorial" for posting from photpbucket..

If you have the photo already uploaded to photobucket, you are 1/2 way there...I also post pics from my facebook page (or pics my wife or daughters have posted)..

First thing you do is at the bottom of this repy box...click on "use full editor".(this was said to Bakon because we we in private messages and a quick reply doesnt have the options needed)

ok..next thing you do, is open photobucket up in a new tab...sign in and go to your library....then click on the pic you want to post...

when that pic comes up...on the right hand side you will have 5 options under "links to share this photo"

"left click" on the second option (Direct)..it will briefly turn yellow and display "copied"

now, come back here and whatever forum you are replying to...or posting to...in the "reply box" ..at the top is a WHOLE lot of options.."font".."size"..smileys" .. "my media"..etc.....just below and slightly to the left of the smiley face is a square with something green inside it..(I think its supposed to be a picture of a tree)...click on that, and an orange and white box will pop up with "image properties" at the top (orange part) then a place to type at the bottom (white, with the word "URL" above it)....

right click the text (white) box...then click "paste".....

all the info that is needed to post your pic is now there...all you need to do is click "OK and your pic should show up...

Interesting!  When I use Photobucket, I do not have to click on Full Editor...just click on my picture, click on Image address, come back and Paste, and when I hit Post the picture appears!

Ok....suggestions ARE accepted..lol..I am sure there may be easier/better ways..I always assumed I needed to put the url in the image properties box for it to show up...I guess you can teach an old dog new tricks..lol..I am learning...

If anyone else has suggestions, feel free to add to this..we want to make posting pics as easy as possible...after all..we all love pictures....right?  ;)

Thank you, and yes, just a suggestion.I think depending what device people are on, or what browser, things might work differently, so it is good to have different ideas.  I also would like to know how to post from Facebook, because I've never tried that!

posting from Facebook, I have my settings to private, so on some sites if I just copy and paste the address, it doesnt show up....so..what I do, is click on the picture I want from my album...

it will now be the large version  of the pic.....right click and select the second to the last option... "view image info"...click on it and wait a second....

after a few seconds, a whole list will load...the last one to come up will already be highlighted "blue".....copy that address...

come back here .if you paste it in this reply box...this is what you will see..

if you paste it in the image properties box (the green square)...this is what you get

From Facebook, you can also do this, if you're a groovy Mac user like me and Doreen. Click on the "Preview" icon. In the "File" menu, click on "Take Screen Shot". Then take a pic of your Facebook pic, and save it. Then, download it to photobucket. Then copy it and paste it here.

I figured that out ALL BY MYSELF.

I still can only post with Joe's method from one computer out of four I use. Don't know what setting is different but internet explorer is required to stay on three of them, and the only thing I use at home, so it must be a setting somewhere. Somebody smart should come along now and tell me....

ok I switched to Internet Explorer then

click on More Reply Options (at the bottom right next to POST)

at the bottom you will see Attach Files~click browse and choose your picture from your computer

then click attach this file

it comes up as a thumbnail but if people click on the thumbnail it enlarges it

you might have to shrink the picture first if it says its too big and save it on your computer you can do this by going to www.shrinkmypicture.com

its a long winded way but its a way for now and will get easier with practice ~ good luck :)
