I have been blessed that as each day that goes by the smoking thoughts have gone away. When I first quit the yearning felt like it poured out of each and every pore. Strangely, the one trigger place left is while driving. This goes away with a few deep breaths. It is only recently that I felt these thoughts go away. Now I am back to my normal obsessions, work, food, exercise. It certainly is glorious.

This is wonderful news!  Wonderful testimony to the awesomeness that comes if you just give it some time.

You earned this peace my catty friend.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
