So today I started my field training which was good and a few hill reps but I will also be doing some road work but not a lot lol

The trouble is I have to be careful with my knees and shins(too many boot runs)

So I am looking for a good cross trainer shoe that's good for all surfaces

Trouble is with the shops they try to give you so much bs and I can't afford to be swapping shoes every few weeks

Any advice from your experiences???

Eventually I will be doing long distances and hill and cross country

Thanks

Sarge would certainly be the one to ask, but whatever you do, do not take advice from the Egg  :P

I wear sauconys now and also I realized for running shoes that I should go a half size bigger which helps my feet also it truly is what works for your feet ....I have beome a shoe whore I have bought many running shoes to find ones that work plus after so many miles they need to be replaced.....I have tried nikes, asics, kswiss (hated those) and other shoes here and there so far sauconys are my favorite they feel nice and my feet do not hurt nor do my shins.

Another vote for Sauconys.

T, try a specialist running shop. I found them refreshingly helpful and straightforward. No BS.

If they are not asking you to run a few steps on a treadmill, you are in the wrong shop....
