I am now on day 20 of not smoking and I feel GREAT !!! And in 6 days, I will be going on my first full family vacation SMOKEFREE !!!! It will be the first time in over 30 years, my parents will see me without a cigarette hanging out of my mouth. My kids and I will be able to relax and enjoy each other without me thinking when I will get my next fix. And I rented a smoke free condo ON THE BEACH where we can sit outside and truly inhale the fresh air.

I'm so excited I could just pee.

This IS my quit. I'm owning this bitch.

Love the attitude.  Be aware and be careful... for some reason my first vacation was full of triggers.  I guess I had to retrain my brain to vacation without smoking just like everything else.  Make a plan...cause it will probably happen to you too.

It is really nice to see you so positive...I have seen this be a struggle for you.

Keep on keepin on.

So glad everything is going well.  Your quit is under control and yes you are owning it.  I hope it's 5 quick sleeps before you holiday.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
