What is NOPE?

 

For some, it is a pledge. It helps them focus.

 

For some it is a health indicator. How many posts?

 

To all the folk here with lengthy quits, you know, it really helps me when you pop in and post NOPE.

 

On the other hand, if NOPE is not important, let's not flog a dead horse.

 

So, just forever, NOPE from me

To me...

 

It's a promise, a commitment to myself and the people who stand by me.

 

NOPE gives me strength. At one of my weak moments, I had to wait until midnight if I was to smoke because I had given my word....of course by then I didn't want to.

 

NOPE is strength and my motivator to others that I will stand by them.

 

Yeah, it means a lot to me, I pledge every day still.  I "like" post from quits newer then mine who pledge for that reason.

 

It matters to me.

I have a long quit, yet just the other night, I had a smoking dream. UGH.

I'm with Marti - this is my promise to myself each and everyday, that I absolutely can I break. I will never smoke again, but I will take it a day at a time anyway, it's easier for me :p

 

Plus, love seeing all the other pledges everyday :)

I think it is a reminder of never taking another puff no matter how long we are quit as one puff leads to packs.  So for today, I pledge NOPE!

i don't always remember to pledge here everyday....but everyday I do pledge to never take another puff of those nasty, disgusting, piece of crap, life sucking, evil nasty cancer sticks
