I did for a bit. However, I preferred the gum. And greatly prefer nothing as I think it gets us out of the nicotine loop faster.

Blessing to you.

No Kdad never used any NRTs  but if you think it will help you to stay quit by all means use it. I hope you are doing well.  Just get yourself in the right mindset and it will happen. By no means is it easy. Just keep saying nope. We just have to stay the course and eventually we will get more good days mixed in with these bad ones. I am routing for you

I did in the beginning after using the patch. Didn't really care for them, preferred the gum. I used the coated gum, I alternated w either fruit flavor or ice mint at 2 mg.

I am on lozenges. So far so good. It certainly is taking the edge off. I have a good feeling about the future.

I am happy to hear the lozenges are helping.  I know for me they were salvation.  I did find that I could get them cheaper on Amazon that the name brand at the drugstore, if that helps, take a look.  GO KDAD, you are getting in the groove.

Still staying strong. The NRT is really working. I don't think about smoking all the time. Just a little now and then.

I am glad they are helping, I do not know if I could have done it without them.  I would suggest that as time goes on, you want to start slowly tapering down.  For me I would use one but as soon as I felt relief from the craving I would take it out of my mouth as put it on a saucer.  Leave it until you need to fight off a crave. Sounds crazy but it worked for me. Be sure not to leave it where a child or pet could get to it.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
