Today marks my 7th day of not smoking. I woke up this morning with a feeling I can't explain except that for some reason I felt a bit better. Oh craves come and go and triggers aplenty to work through but this was more of an internal change. I seemed more relaxed. Still coughing but breathing a bit better. Maybe it's my brain getting more oxygen. I don't know. Maybe the anxiety has let up some. But it's the first time in 7 days that I felt a bit better. Will not get complacent or let my guard down,  just enjoying this while it lasts.

Good work @Sunshine to get to your first week is an amazing achievement.

Glad to hear today seems alittle better for you, remember that nice feeling when you get a bad day, they will become more and more as you move through the weeks and into months.

That is truly amazing. Yes, there will be challenging days ahead. But, IMHO, getting a week down especially because it can be so challenging makes us really want to keep going. And every day, no matter how tough, is better without smoking!

Great job Sunshine.

The challenging moments become fewer and further between as you continue.  Let the high times carry the lows.
