Not a good day. It started out shall I say decent. Kept myself busy by doing laundry. Of course wanted one during the whole ordeal. Clumsy as all get go. Banged my hand against a closet door and have a bruise that's all purple and sore. Let's not forget the dropsies. Can't seem to hold on to a darn thing. Cigarettes are a constant on my mind. Oh a few tears along the way too. Nothing like a pity party to move the friggin day along. As this day (well disaster) moves along I dare not get out of my pajamas as I need not get dressed for fear of going out to get them. Have read I think it was my cigarette my friend. That and Doreen's post to me saying we have to learn to be adults all over again was my only smile for the day. And Doreen you are so right. Must learn everything all over again. I should be a bit happy as I am now nicotine free. Three days and moving forward. Not ever going through this again. This is not an SOS just a vent. Now I feel better. Dinner then a nice shower and laying down to watch tv. Be back later as long as I stay away from closet doors.

Vent all you need to, that helped me tons! Hope your hand feels better. I get those terrible bruises with even the slightest hit to my arms. Staying close to home is also what I did in the early days, I just didn't trust myself! Looks like you're doing everything needed to make this your forever quit :)

You are not alone, as I sit here in my pajamas for the third day. Have not washed my hair, just another deterrent to prevent a rash decision.  Switch to plastic cups and paper plates, much better than sweeping up broken glass. Always have tissues at the ready.

I have done it all, I will keep doing it and any other silly thing that comes to mind.  I am only going to quit one time.  I do not want to have to start over, I will not go thru this again!

Thanks jillar. Can't believe how I wacked my hand like that. Your bumps and picks of the week are a big help. I learned alot from filling the void. Keep them coming

Kris lol. How long do you think we should stay in pajamas?  Yes paper plates etc is a good idea.  You have a good attitude 😁. We are doing this. Now go wash that hair 😀

I only have one quit in me. I would never survive going through those dark first days ever again. It gets better. I promise that it does! 🤗

Hi Gus. I will hold you to that promise 😁. I know what you mean about not having another quit in you. Never want to go down this road again. Thanks for the encouragement

It does get easier. You are in the beastly thick of it. Bu you are doing it and its not supposed to look pretty. You did not smoke today. And you have not smoked for THREE DAYS! That is truly amazing and worth celebrating. Now you will not be able to see it just yet but give yourself some time and the gratitude will set in. Pretty soon here you won't even think about smoking or at least not as much.

Stay close. We are all with you.

Thanks garry. I sat here this morning thinking I just need to accept what is going on with me now and let it happen. Deep breathing does help. I feel a bit better today.  Do notice some changes. Putting my hand to my face and actually feeling some warmth is a good thing. I need to concentrate on the good and deal with the bad. Thanks for the encouraging words.

Yes-there are better days ahead. And it gets way easier. So stay the course and keep reminding yourself that this is a gift you are giving to you.

@SunshineYou might want to do a ticker? Its pretty fun watching the days go by. Any time I feel the least bit wobbly, I pop on and check the reality of the gift I am giving to me by not smoking. It helps galvanize my determination....

Thanks for the laugh Doreen and the encouragement 😀. Also I checked out qi gong and have now ordered a DVD on it for beginners. Can't wait till it arrives so I can get started on doing it. You are so helpful...thanks

Good morning KEL. I tried to get one here but wasn't able to do it yet. So I did download a ticker and placed it on my home screen. I did see somewhere in here how to get one in my signature. Still working on that. Craves come and go but really working hard  on tackling them. Gonna get some more reading and video watching done today. Thanks for your help.
