I'm going crazy

Evelyn

Recommended Posts

I'm sitting behind my desk, crying - stopping myself to run downstairs to my smoking neighbour: I went from 40 cigarettes to zero today and I feel like I'm going crazy. Juice relieves it a bit but I'm posting an SOS BEFORE I smoke, instead of coming back later this evening confessing I smoked.

Locked myself in with closed curtains --

hun deep breathes it does suck but you are stronger than the crave tell that bastard to get the hell away from you! It does get better eventually it takes a lot of patience and perseverance which I believe you have.......you are worth quitting smoking and saving yourself from the dangers of smoking....your life is important and sacred ..............you did the right thing coming here .........maybe take a nap until it goes away or maybe take a bath

you have been here before Evelyn. You can get through this. Do something to take your mind off of it.

I am posting from my phone and it is giving me fits. But I will try to check in with you. You got this ...1 minute at a time

You can do it Evelyn!

Watch a movie, do some exorcise, take a nap, play a game, listen to music, talk to us... There are so many other things to do which are better than smoking. You've been here before, you know you can do this. We believe in you!!!!

Thanks for standing next to me, I'm going to nap a little caz my tummy hurts. Laying down always works best for me.

Good idea. We are here for you.

Congratulations on 16 hours :)

(((Evelyn)))

Sleeping always helps me. It really does and so I'm glad you can nap.

So does eating.

I'm sure exercise would too if I'd do it.

Hang in there, you never have to go through day 1 again. You are doing it!!

Not One Puff Ever

Evelyn, I hope that you are ok. Fingers crossed you didn't break your quit, but if you did just check in and start again my lovely.

You know, years ago, I read a story about someone quitting and they took to their bed for a couple of weeks, just slept it out, the body going into shock part of it. Sleep might be the best medicine at the moment. Hope that you are ok my lovely xx

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
