Good Morning Quit Trainers.

Last night I dreamed I smoked two cigarettes with a friend (long-time smoking companion). Before I had the third, the thought was to post an admission, to let @jillar and @Doreensfree know I fell off the train but was going to get right back on.

I felt super disconcerted until I realized it was a dream. The best part though is that my QT buddies have apparently infiltrated my deep subconscious. Thank you!

I had issues with smoking dreams too.  I guess it makes sense since smoking was such a big part of who we were that it would still be part of our subconscious.

I think it is normal.  The important thing is that you didn't smoke in the real, awake world.

Keep up the great work.

I can't remeber if I had a smoking dream right now but the last couple of nights I have had dreams of my youth that included all the people I have lost. They were good dreams not nightmares, maybe a gift from them I am doing well

@KrisI don't believe we ever "lose" any one we have ever loved. I think its just a big circle. At least that is what makes me feel better when I am missing people.....And I love when they come to me in my dreams, especially those who left a long time ago. Its sweet. And yes, I do think they "show up" to let us know we are doing just fine.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
