Here is the last of my NAIDOC week offerings (I don't know why it goes for 8 days and not 7... It just does).....I was going to Post two songs about the Stollen Generation one about the kids being taken away and a response decades later about Aboriginal success but I know I have posted them before...so then I'd thought I'd post Elijah's song..but it's so heartbreakingly sad....so, for my American friends who like this sort of thing...let's have some country, Aussie style...

Some of us were trying to make a change back then and still today.

It blows my mind that the majority didn't/don't give a shit.

S !!
Old School is the best school !
My ipod is filled with old school funk , jazz and R&B !!   For good reason....it's real and it's raw !  My genres of choice ! I can tell by some of your songs you lean this way too!   Stanley Jordan is one of the best !! Tappin' and smilin' !  So much talent !

another Bill Withers below

and a great song but, why he recited The Lords Prayer at 3:07 mystifies me so fade the song out at 3:02 unless you like that kind of thing.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
