If you ever get the chance to see Blackberry Smoke live, you should go.  Those guys put on a legitimate concert.  Everything is live off the floor, there's a good mix of original material and covers, some prolonged jams...they know how to give the people what they want.

You ever just kick back on a rainy Sunday morning and listen to some smooth jams?  I suggest you try it sometime.

I don't wait for the rain.  Nor the Sunday morning. :27_sunglasses:

Here we have Room of golden air by Mercyful Fate. The rest of the album is really good as well but this song almost brings a tear for me.

This is my favorite instrumental of all time. For me it is like the mood of a calm winter night that is cold and snowy but not unbearably so. Ambient lights give everything a blueish color. No other disturbances. Just a calm, relaxed, time-standing-still feeling. Being at peace. Perhaps because I bought this CD during the Christmas holiday in 1993 when I got to spend some time in my home town.

You know how some songs put you in a mood that is hard to describe? This is one of mine.

It is a very strange mixture of easy listening, ambience, and metal. How is such a combination even possible? Listen for yourself.
