This week is finally over.  Thinking about cranking up some Burnside and just driving...somewhere.

... and just driving...somewhere.

I miss those days.  Miles upon miles of highways and backroads waiting ....  No destination really, just pack the tent, cooler and go.

Anything Springsteen

Anything Phil

That's the happy place I go to.  When things get heavy and people start driving me crazy, I fantasize about loading up the bare essentials and setting off on some Kerouac style roadtrip across America.  Realistically it may never happen, but having it as an option keeps me sane.

Maybe a little coked up, but KC still bringing it .... Cool-Ass Song  B)

Was it the eyes wide open or the lip licking that gave it away?  lol

Guess I'm feelin a little country bluesy tonight.  ;)

Those country bluesy moments are when the soul grows stronger.

As my buddy said, "that cracka got moves!"  Back in my running days, this would have been my hill work tune.   And I'm normally a Blues/R&B kinda gal.  Dig this to the very last hand gesture.

It is early!  I need something peppy.  Like the kids on American Bandstand used to say: "it has a good beat and you can dance to it."

Some mornings the coffee needs to be a little bit stronger and the 1970s arena rock a little bit louder.

Tickets in hand, I'm going to see Sturgill live tonight.  It's been a while since I've had such high expectations for a concert.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
