Haven't visited this thread in a while!  I LOVE Van Morrison!!!  I saw him in concert at a very rare showing at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado a long time ago - maybe back in like 2003 or so.  It was a bit weird kinda.  He had this tiny little stage set up and didn't interact with the audience at all.  A bit disappointing for a live show.  I read that he has stage fright and maybe he does better in smaller, indoor venues.  I don't know - still LOVE his music and lyrics.

That is awesome.  I've never had the chance to take in a show at Red Rocks, but it looks like an awesome venue.  As for Van's interaction with the crowd...from most accounts Van is a complicated and often difficult guy to deal with.  Brilliant artist though.

Wait a minute......

is someone trying to distract me from Chicks & Sticks game?????

Of course not!  Who would do such a thing?  Hey look over here...

He wasn't nearly as energetic at Red Rocks as he was in that Caravan video.  No fancy leg kickin at Red Rocks.

Just once in my life I want to exit a stage the way Van does at the end of that clip.

Just once in my life, I'd like to sing on stage in front of a huge clapping cheering audience that loves me for the true rock star that I really am. lol :)

Well, that settles it.  Kick the tires, light the fire, and get that show on the road.  If the tour stops in Chattanooga, I will spread the word.

I've been hooked on electro swing lately.

So Fun!!!  So way back when I was young, there was a 50's dance club I used to like to go once in a while.  Most of the times it was lame, but once in a while we caught a good time.

One night a friend and I went and I ended up dancing with some old guy (he was probably 40 to my 21/22 young years).  Holy crap though, he spun me & flipped me all over the place.  I was having SO MUCH FUN dancing!!!  I went to the bar to take a quick break and get a drink of water - didn't want to drink alcohol that night cuz I was having so much fun dancing.  My friend was not having quite as much fun -  as I walked up she was throwing a glass of water in the bartender's face.  Evidently, that's not what she ordered.  Lol.  So yeah, we (she) got kicked out.  I was all mad at her because I was having so much fun and wanted to stay.  She didn't seem that drunk to me - so something else must have gone down while I was dancing.

Haha..  The good ole days.   :)

lol - for sure!  I was so mad.  The only reason she gave me is that he was rude.  I don't know.  Maybe he was an asshole and deserved it???
