Very true.  Allen Carr changed it all for me.  Such a different but true way to look at smoking.  I read it, bought what he was saying and I give that book much of the credit right along with ex-smokers here to help me navigate the rough waters.

What would Allen Carr do?

The Sarge prefers Gumby[1].

Allan Carr changed my life!  Yes...I am the one who stopped putting things in my mouth and lighting them on fire...all me baby!!

But....Allan's book helped me realize that I COULD do it!

I recommend it to anyone...but they have to actually read it for it to work...so...get busy folks!

I never read it, just quit by saying NOPE.

I like what would Evel Knievel Do when out riding.

I never read it either but I dont read any self help books they just dont hold my attention long (oh look a rabbit) I do read but it is mostly horror or thrillers because they (if written well) hold my attention long enough.......I believe in whatever helps you quit..........the bottom line is Just dont put things in your mouth and light them on fire.......:)

LOVE anything that helps!!  But just in case anyone else reads and it does nothing......

Nope

Smoking not on the table

Don't put something in your mouth and smoke it

Simple!!

Allen Carr, LOTS of talking. I did read it once, never quit. Read it after I'd quit this time, Nope worked better for me.

Clearly I'm a bit simple

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
