At a casino horse track to watch Belmont stakes Wife picks by name and picked California Chrome for Kentucky derby before we knew it was a favorite. So first day this week chemo isn't kicking her ass and got her out of house. First time here and we found non smoking section. Amazed at the puffers. At the doors. Sitting at machines betting. Walking outside. Think every smoker in area is here and do they look bad. Not a pretty one in bunch. Old wrinkled smelly bad clothes and breath. Gray looking. Skin hanging. No smiles. Cross over the rainbow and non smokers are laughing an enjoying a cocktail. Dressed up and smiling. It's like two different places under one roof. Slight smell in air until I walked through smoking section. Very strong stink

The local sports radio talk show that I listen to while driving has been talking about the horse races a lot.  Of course in Maryland, right? lol  I was hoping Ca Chrome would win because of the back story to the horse.  Pretty cool.  They said in today's market, even know it lost today, would sell for at least 13 million on the spot and even more if they hold onto it.

I have never, ever been into horse racing at all but they did a pretty good job marketing it this year and it's piqued my interest.
