Wow, thanks everyone for the lovely comments and encouragement, it's really appreciated! I feel like I'm doing ok again after the 'ice cream night' incident, that was a struggle but I won thankfully. In my other life, no one really cares if I quit and stay quit or not....I'm so grateful that you all care, it means a lot to me.

I suspect no one in your other life really gets it - what it's like to quit that is. That's why there's so much value to a forum like this. Everyone certainly does 'get it'. We're all traveling the same path. Just separated by time and distance is all :)

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
