You wake up every morning to fight

the same demons that left you

so tired the night before and that

my love is bravery

Please don't ever get tired of

being a good person with a

good heart I know it sucks

being taken advantage of and

feeling like its better to be

cold hearted sometimes

but people like you are what

gives the world hope

Knowing when

to walk away

is wisdom

being able to

is courage

walking away

with your head held high

is dignity

Never underestimate the

healing power of

listening to your

favorite music on

full blast while dancing

around the house like

an idiot

I use to dislike being sensitive

I thought it made me weak

but take away that single trait

and you take away the very

essence of who I am you

take away my conscience

my ability to emphasize my

intuition my creativity

my deep appreciation for

the little things my vivid inner life

my deep awareness of others

pain and my passion for it all

A dream written down with

a date becomes a goal

a goal broken down into

steps becomes a plan

backed by action becomes

reality

Courage is not

the absence of fear

but rather the judgment

that something else is

more important than fear

slow down every now and again, slip into a warm bath with soft music in the back ground.  Lie back and let your mind slip out of your body, go to the places that make you happy, make you smile where love flows as warm and full as the water you filled the bath with.   Now close your eyes

feel the warmth around you and listen to this.

Remember the day magnum PI died?  I still have a VHS recording

Before your head hits the

pillow tonight remind yourself

of the things you did right

let go of the things you could

have done better be patient

with yourself and remember

that big things are achieved

not all at once but rather

one day at a time

Never forget where you've been

never lose sight of where

you're going  and never

take for  granted the people

who traveled the journey with you

You may see me struggle

but you will never see me

quit

Soon when all is well

you're going to look

back on this period of your life

and be so glad that you

never gave up

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
