Opah some of the best memories I have are those spent with my grandpa in the mountains learning about hunting, camping and life. Your grandsons will cherish these days for the rest of their lives. Im thinking you will too. Enjoy

We must keep hope alive

even when its scary even

when all of our strength

seems gone we have to

Keep picking ourselves back up

and moving forward  because

whatever we're battling in the

moment it  will pass we will

make it through we've made

it this far we can make it

through whatever comes next

There is something uniquely beautiful

about a person that grows from his or

her struggles and uses the lesson from

their experience to spread wisdom

it doesn't matter what you've done

or how far you fell be the example that

shows others that they can overcome

the mountain too!!

On particularly rough days

I like to remind myself

that my track record for

getting through bad days

so far is 100% and that's

pretty good

Never knew it started in the UK, the most revered TV show in American history.  "All In The Family"
modeled after a UK show,  I did not know that , did you?

That theme song "Those Were The Days"

Thank God those are not the days anymore, we are all growing and changing. Someday we will all get together and realize we are all people,  not different kinds of people, just people with the same dreams, aspirations, desire to make a better world for all.

I like this one Linda. I have been reading smokersblog.org.

Lot of good words there. Got to check out this Allen Carr book. I think  it might be helpful.

Success boils down to serially avoiding catastrophic failure while routinely absorbing manageable damage.

Translation:  I didn't get hit by a car but my hands got all scratched up picking raspberries (so worth it).

been written in your story

the rest of the pages

Change your attitude and you

change your life you can not

control what happens to you

in your life but you can always

control how you respond to it

the way you choose to respond

is  reflection of your attitude

by changing your attitude you

also change your perspective

and change your life

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
