Hi All,

Just thought I would check in as I still have not smoked or used any type of tobacco. I am doing pretty good, I am not even taking Chantix anymore as I forgot to have my doctor re-up the prescription. Other than putting on some weight (which I need to work on), it really hasn't been that bad. I do think about smoking every now and again, but it passes. Hope everyone is doing well and again thanks for the support.

Yes, the weight gain is something, a bit. Glad you're doing well.

Sounds like you have built yourself a pretty solid quit foundation Dogbelly. Congrats! Stand on guard & protect that quit always!

Hi Dogbelly! Great job staying quit and glad your craves are manageable. Just keep going, and don't get the blues. Spring is here! If you do get the blues, come here. Just hold onto that quit and the blues will also pass.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
