This is where you long timers can really help with what you have substituted for a smoke in trigger situations.  IE: Jill's smoke free invisible fake none nicotine  OK OK I forgot the Name but you all get my drift.  Such as That cold foggy morning sitting on the Refuge porch drinking a hot cup of coffee and puffing on my pipe or a cigar, I kinda  substituted toast bread to crew on, did it work yes for that one time  looking more towards a cinnamon bread stick next time or a jerky stick cheese sticks work well.

Driving I have substituted the Vitamin water for a beer and been cold turkey with the smoke was doing sunflower seed but my tongue kept swelling up from the salt.  So what have you long timers come up with as substitute and what was the trigger situation ?

Yes @Opah I've seen them. One of our members said she bought one. Imo a cut straw, pen or my invisible one, all free, work just as well. And my invisible one works best because I never had to worry about forgetting where it was 😂

Lol I did a lot of eating! peanut butter, chocolate, donuts and, amazingly, alcohol. I don't recommend it. lots of exercising going on now to get the extra weight off...and dieting. if I had to do it again, I would go for water, and those inhalers LOL, and exercise, Oh yes and the JAC

I think I still have my whiskey jar half full of water and packed with cigarette buts somewhere in my garage.

There were a few times I would unscrew the lid and take a big whiff to remind me of what I was missing.

I...haven't felt the need of such reminders in quite a while.
